- Selected finalists will be invited to the ScaleUp 2023 networking event-giving startups the opportunity to connect, collaborate and engage with peers and industry experts.
- The winner of the AED 250,000 grant and other runners-up will be announced at the event.
- All invitees will get the chance to take part in startup break-away sessions and listen in on panel discussions and a keynote speech.

Fadi will be the keynote speaker and part of the judging panel.
Amnah Ajmal
Leading acceptance, mergers and acquisitions, merchants, digital partnerships, fintech and strategy at Mastercard for EEMEA. Amnah will be a notable speaker at the exclusive networking event and a member of the judging panel.

ScaleUp 2023 is a contest and exclusive event powered by Mastercard and Aramex and designed to support, enable and drive startups to launch and grow in the UAE! The 1st prize winner will receive AED 250,000 and get immense support from both Mastercard and Aramex in e-commerce, logistics and innovation.
The two runners-up and the 1st prize winner will attend an exclusive angel investors lunch and be invited to the ScaleUp 2023 event. The ScaleUp 2023 event will include business workshops and speakers like Fadi Ghandour, Aramex Founder and Executive Chairman of Wamda Capital, who will be the keynote speaker. All participants will receive an invite to the event, that includes a networking lunch.

There is no cost associated with participating. Just your good ideas and a drive to win!
Submissions will only be viewed by a select few team members from Aramex and Mastercard. They will not be externally shared with the public.

We will shortlist five exceptional startup finalists from the participants. There will be one winning startup who will receive AED 250,000, attend an exclusive angel investors lunch, gain marketing exposure, get business mentorship and have preferential rates for logistics services. The two runners-up will also get the chance to attend an exclusive angel investors lunch alongside the winning startup.
All participants will receive exclusive invitations to our prestigious ScaleUp 2023 event, for a chance to network with prominent industry leaders, take part in workshops and listen to serial entrepreneurial speakers.
